Interview with Diana Nicols

Tara’s mom, Diana Nicols, moved to 17 Walnut Street in Cooperstown when she was in 7th grade and completed

middle school through high school. Before that, she went to Valleyview Elementary in Oneonta, NY for grades 1-6. She moved to Maine after college She went to Maine College to become a police officer. Then she came back to Cooperstown and met Tara´s dad, and became a police chief. She moved to a big house near the Clarks Sports Center. After living in that house for a while, she had her first child, Tess. When Tess was two, she had another child named Lincoln. When Lincoln was two and Tess was four, she had her last child, Tara.

Diana was a big part of this community. She was police chief for 7 years. Then she retired and became a self defense teacher in Oneonta. She is also an EMT which stands for Emergency Medical Technician.
